Manager Skills

Most new managers are people who were top performers in their field. That makes sense, doesn’t it?  But being a top performer doesn’t automatically equate to management skills.  Management is about people, it’s complicated and demanding, with conflicting priorities, expectations and its own kind of stress. Managers have to juggle the company’s policies and priorities, their own workload and the dynamics of the individuals who report to them.

The good news is that with training, dedication and practice, you can learn the skills required to be a good manager. This course will provide insight on current management concepts, topics and, opportunities to practice the methods presented. Whether you are new to management or want to refresh your skills, this is the course for you.
