Meet Joe Bruno,

LeaderVitae Founder

JMB 2019.jpg

Joe started LeaderVitae out of his passion for learning and helping people discover and grow into more than they thought possible. This desire to learn and teach drove him to become a teacher and his first job out of university was as a public school teacher.

Later, he branched into a different industry and gained experience with sales, sales management, and factory reliability. But the passion for learning and teaching was always there— so he took on an opportunity outside of the norm for his large global organization, and built a technical training program with a goal to help his company’s customers and end-users become more productive and streamline processes to build and produce products more reliably.

With the program’s success, Joe was able to integrate his techniques into his organization’s programs for their distributors. Ultimately, through developing and delivering programs tailored to customer and distributor needs, Joe gained valuable experience he would use for the rest of his career: matching the learning needs of adults and different audiences with the appropriate instructional techniques.

Joe’s hard work and passion grew into an opportunity to manage the internal Learning & Development department nationally , focused on developing strategic programs for managers and leaders. In his training career, Joe guided the development of employees, managers, and leaders as they grew into their roles with programs designed to bring out lasting and reinforced changes in the way people behave and interact with one another.

Joe believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to be their best employee, manager or leader, for themselves and for their colleagues – and it’s in them, waiting to shine. It’s this foundation he’s built LeaderVitae.

Joe is currently on the faculty of the American Management Association and the Montgomery County Community College.
